The EC Cabling group is part of DELTA - Danish Electronics， Light & Acoustics - an international technology company represented in five countries and headquartered in Hoersholm， Denmark. DELTA specialize in testing， consultancy and development within microelectronics， electronics， lighting and optics， acoustics， software， sensors and wireless solutions.

EC Cabling offers independent testing of generic cabling products in order to verify compliance with international and regional cabling and component standards such as ISO/IEC 11801， Cenelec EN 50173-series， IEC 61156-series (symmetrical cables)， IEC 60603-7-series (RJ45 type connector)， IEC 61935-2 (balanced cords) and more.

If compliance with the relevant standards is verified by EC Cabling， the product is qualified to become part of our EC VERIFIED certification programme. In addition to the initial qualification testing， this programme includes periodical maintenance testing as well as annual or bi-annual quality audits at the production site. The schedule for maintenance testing and quality audits depends on product type (cable， connector， cord， channel， link etc.) - there is no audit for cords， channels or links. All EC VERIFIED products are listed on the DELTA web-site.
