1、將固濱籠錯縫擺設就位，避免出現縱向貫通縫。
2、將固濱籠四邊立起，用綁線將相鄰邊沿鎖緊，綁鎖時，將綁線圍繞兩條重合的框線（縫合邊棱時）或框線與網籠的雙扭結邊（縫合格柵時）螺旋狀扭緊，避免重鍍鋅損傷。
3、當在已完成的底層網上面安裝固濱籠時，應用綁線沿新裝固濱籠下部邊框將其固定在底層的石籠網上，同一層相鄰的固濱籠也應用綁線相互系牢，使固濱籠連成一體。
4、在某單元工程的同一水平層施工時，應將固濱籠全部就位后才開始填充卵石，為了防止固濱籠變形，相鄰兩個固濱籠（包括同一石籠網的相鄰格室）的填石高差不應大于35cm；
5、固濱籠安裝前，應適當修整岸坡及地面，并盡可能保持岸坡原有形狀，但不應有明顯的隆起和凹陷。
6、填充的卵石在河漫灘上選取，其抗壓強度應滿足設計要求，卵石粒徑應在8～20cm之間，并要求大小搭配合理以達到設計要求的空隙度和保證石籠網的直線外形。
